Founding Principles
Jurata Thin Film believes that all people should have access to life saving vaccines and therapeutics, no matter where they are in the world. We are a privately-held company founded in April 2019 based on the thin film technology developed in Dr. Maria Croyle's laboratory, by scientists included Dr. Irnela Bajrovic, at the University of Texas at Austin. Evidence supporting the ability of this thin film to store vaccines at ambient or elevated temperatures, while maintaining therapeutic efficacy, has been published and presented many times.
